Happy home stretch of 2024! We are excited to be looking ahead at this time and to announce a restructuring at MDT Real Estate, formerly known as The Mandy & David Team. As many of you know, our very own David Getson is stepping back from sales to pursue a career with Compass management, where he will use his gifts to train and oversee the agents at Compass’ Capitol Hill office. We wish him well and are thrilled for the new agents who will benefit from his knowledge.

MDT Real Estate is now woman-owned and managed. Our operating philosophy is firmly rooted in the importance of home and family, the inherent rights of every individual to equal access and the belief that we all deserve an advocate and trusted advisor in our most important financial decisions. We understand that home ownership is a pathway to generational wealth and we are committed to helping everyone find their place in the world for this very reason. We proudly serve all neighborhoods, at every price point and will continue to give back to our local community, which has always been a cornerstone of Mandy’s entrepreneurship.

Mandy formed this team in 2005 with what, at the time, was a novel concept – an organizational approach that would offer clients more consistent communication and insights, while allowing our agents to focus entirely on the marketplace and the needs of their buyers and sellers. Given the opportunity to consider our history, our processes and a shifting real estate landscape, we have begun to adopt new workplace standards for our team that reflect a more collaborative and humanistic approach to our work. We continue to be faithful to our long-standing model of nurturing young talent while adding experienced agents, as a commitment both to our clients and the local real estate community.

Our team of top agents in the DMV are supported by a professional staff, dedicated to the belief that working together makes us each more effective and more knowledgeable, allowing us to provide the best service possible. We remain a community resource for any referrals or recommendations, such as handymen, designers, landscapers, etc. Additionally, we maintain a national and international referral network, should relocation needs arise.
